Diante de significativos avanços tecnológicos presenciados pela sociedade, o Estado, representado pelo Leviatã, reúne diversas ferramentas que podem ser utilizadas em desfavor do indivíduo. Numa perspectiva de proteção dos direitos humanos, a questão que se apresenta é de que forma esses avanços tecnológicos afetam os direitos individuais. Com base no método hipotético-dedutivo, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, visando resolver essa problemática, a proposta busca refletir em que medida os avanços tecnológicos interferem nos direitos humanos, por parte do Estado, no Brasil. Para tanto, o estudo aborda temas voltados para os direitos humanos e o Estado, assim como tecnologias disponíveis na sociedade e utilizadas pelo Leviatã, além da possível interferência dessas tecnologias em relação aos direitos humanos, em especial nas questões ligadas à intimidade e a privacidade do indivíduo. ABSTRACT In the face of significant technological advances witnessed by society, the State, represented by Leviathan, brings together several tools that can be used to the detriment of the individual. From a human rights protection perspective, the question that arises is how these technological advances affect individual rights. Based on the hypothetical-deductive method, through a bibliographic research, aiming to solve this problem, the proposal seeks to reflect on the extent to which technological advances interfere with human rights, on the part of the State, in Brazil. To this end, the study addresses issues related to human rights and the State, as well as technologies available in society and used by Leviathan, in addition to the possible interference of these technologies in relation to human rights, especially in issues related to the intimacy and privacy of the individual.
