Ancient Mediterranean Archaeology and History

Resumo: Gilberto da Silva Francisco, arqueólogo formado pelo Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia da USP, realizou uma importante dissertação de mestrado sobre a questão dos grafismos na cerâmica ática, atendo-se em especial ao estudo das assim conhecidas ânforas panatenaicas. Como reconhecimento dos méritos desta pesquisa, o trabalho foi contemplado com a sua publicação integral e revisada, sob a forma de um suplemento da revista oficial desta instituição, a Revista do Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia da USP. Abstract: Gilberto da Silva Francisco, an archaeologist from the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo (USP), presented an important master's thesis on the subject of attic ceramics, focusing in particular on the study of so-called panatena amphorae. In recognition of the merits of this research, the work was contemplated with its complete and revised publication, in the form of a supplement to the official journal of this institution, the Journal of the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology of USP.
