ResumoThis study aims to discuss the relationship between organizational culture and records management. Organizational culture is understood as the set of habits and norms that shape how individuals withinan organization interact, as well as the routines and practices to be followed. The methodology employs bibliographical research to develop a narrative review article. To this end, an interdisciplinary dialogue is established between administration, archival science, and information science, with information technologies as a backdrop. The discussion demonstrates that archival records management and the implementation of computerized systems depend on an organizational culture that prioritizes administrative efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to mobilize the organization through policies and regulations that support archival records management. In this way, they contribute to achieving organizational objectives through faster and more accurate decision-making.
