We intend here to inquire what is proposed by Joao de Apameia about the question of men's passions. In his point of view what is the origin of the passions? Are they from the body, the soul or from both? Are they part of human nature? Are they good or evil? They must be eradicated or spiritualized? How can we do it? These are some of the questions we could ask to Joao Solitario, at the sunset, in the doorstep of his cell, in a peaceful dialogue, together with other disciples, surrounded by the silence of Syria Mountains.
