ResumoespanolLos impresos de las fabulas de Esopo disponen desde el siglo XVI unos proverbios en los margenes que sintetizan la moral de cada fabula. Esta estrategia mercantil, que coincide con el nuevo impulso que cobra la literatura sapiencial a partir del Renacimiento, permite visualizar la moralizacion con claridad y facilita su memorizacion. En el articulo se estudia este repertorio, se destacan sus variantes cotejando varias ediciones y se aborda su relacion con las formas narrativas. Por ultimo se senala su utilizacion por parte del compilador anonimo del manuscrito Zabalburu IV-206, quien tuvo que tener en sus manos alguna edicion de Esopo anotada. EnglishFrom the Sixteenth Century, the printed versions of Aesop's fables incorporate some proverbs on its margins which synthesize the moral teaching of each fable. This kind of mercantile strategy, coincident with the new impulse given to wisdom literature since Renaissance, allows observing clearly the moral purpose of the fable while it makes easier its memorization. This article examines this corpus, identifies its variants by collating several editions, and addresses its relationship to the narrative forms. Finally, it indicates the use of these texts by the anonymous collector of the manuscript Zabalburu IV-206, who had to have in his hand any annotated edition of Aesop.
