ResumoZusammenfassungDDT is, first and foremost, a contact insecticide. Its vapour pressure is so low that a fumigant action does not come into consideration. It can be absorbed from the alimentary canal after ingestion with the food so that it may on occasion act as a stomach poison. But its most striking characteristic is the case with which it enters the arthropod body through the integument.
