ResumoThis article discusses the use of a so-called virtual university to train employees on issues relevant to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) public transit system. The system involves computer- based training conducted primarily through BARTs intranet, through some are available on CD-ROM as well. Topics such as terrorism, sexual harassment, and diversity training are just some of the courses offered in the program.
