ResumoCatering to sports teams is an important source of business for motorcoach operators, even if it only involves a trip from the hotel to the airport. Direct contacts are a large source of new business, with some teams e-mailing favorite drivers when their services are needed. Advertising, marketing firms and attending industry events are other ways to get the attention of athletic departments and sports franchises. Sponsoring sporting events is another method of raising awareness.
