ResumoThis study was conducted to contribute to the expansion of activity areas of nurses in the fiel of health promotion services whose importance are increasing day by day. To achieve such goals the writer analized the social values of health promotion services through the method of literature reveiw and held workshops five times with the research team to develop a new program model applicable in health centers and industry. As a conclusion, we recommended the following roles of nurses to be reevaluted an reinforced: 1. Roles as advertizers of the importance of keeping positive health, its social diffussion, an making social environments supporting it. 2. Roles of intervention to change life-styles into positive, active, and client-centered ones 3. Roles of communicators, planners, and managers for the contribution to the maximization of team efficiency with a view to reducing health risk and preventing health threat.
