Resumo

'hill' gravel, as it is commonly known, is a widely used roadmaking material in north eastern Victoria. The area referred to here as the upper Goulburn district is bounded by the hume highway, the Goulburn valley highway and the midland highway, and is only a portion of the total area which utilizes this material.(A)
