ResumoFrom 1997 to 2003, four Danish elderberry cultivars and one local wild variety were evaluated at the Experimental Garden of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Pola nd. The cultivar s evaluated were ‘ Alleso’, ‘ Korsor’, ‘ Sampo’ and ‘Samyl’ . I n t he a utumn o f 1 995, o neyea rold e lderberry b ushes w ere p la nted i n a random block design in two different fields, one with Class IV soil, and the other with Class V soi l.
