Four types of Frasnian dolostones from the Philippeville Massif have been considered on the basis of their petrographic features. The O, C and Sr isotopic compositions of 22 samples of these dolostones and 5 Frasnian limestones have been determined. Binary correlation diagrams have shown that all the data plot into 4 groups. The limestone group always occupies a distinct position compared to the dolostone groups. The interpretation of the results has shown that, in the considered area, dolomitization processes are complex. -from English summary
