ResumoTopomyia (Suaymyia) lehcharlesi n. sp. is described based on male, female, pupal and larval specimens collected from Sarawak, Malaysia. This species is very similar to To. (Sua.) argenteoventralis but can be distinguished by the claspette and dorsomedian lobe of the male genitalia and 5-6 unpaired large spine-like siphonal setae (1a) on the larva.
