‘Improving’ access to psychological therapies: It’s the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)

ResumoIn this paper I outline four concerns about the way in which the clinical psychology profession seems to be responding to the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies agenda: adopting the medical model in clinical psychology, suggesting that one psychotherapeutic model works for all, a narrow focus on helping one part of the population and agreeing that clinical psychologists can cure people (quickly).
