ResumoTo obtain the basic information for commercial process and high quality production of Saururus chinensis, useful components were determined at different growth stages and organs. The contents of quercetin, quercitrin and tannin at different growth stages were decreased before flowering time but slightly increased after flowering. The contents of quercetin, quercitrin and tannin collected on July 26 were 5.72, 5.45g/kg and 1.5%, respectively. The contents of quercetin, quercitrin and tannin were the highest in white leaf, leaf and flower, respectively.
