Tumors and Oncological Cases

A prominent ultrastmctural finding in eight desmoid tumors was myofibroblastic mesenchymal cells with abundant intercellular collagen. In addition, seven of the tumors had intracytoplasmic collagen fibers. These findings are discussed in relation to other tumors and to nontumorous conditions.
